Mom called me on the dorm reception landline often. That was the only link I had with my family. It was strange that not even once during the last few years did my dad call me once or ask me to return home. Vacations came and went by, but I didn’t go home ever, not even on holidays. I either stayed back at the hostel or enrolled myself in short online fashion designing courses. Sometimes, I stayed with Brittany at her house in Boston, Lincolnshire.
