Chapter 106. Alone
I shift, rolling over in the bed. The warmth of his body is no longer there. I try to ignore it, I roll over, but it feels different. So fucking different, I can't shake the unsettled feeling that is rising within me. I can't relax, and for some reason, despite how tired and exhausted I am, my mind is screaming to get up. Sitting up, I look around at the empty room; the light to the walk-in wardrobe is on.
Climbing from bed I walk in and see Marco holding a bag.
"What's happening?" I ask, my eyes looking at him, why has he got a bag like he is leaving me?
He turns shocked. "You should be asleep." his words annoy me.
What? "No, what's going on?" I ask again, wanting to know why he has a bag packed.
"Nothing, I have to meet someone that's all, discuss a deal." He kisses me. Moving I step in front of him.
"Don't lie to me!" He's lying. I can tell he is lying, why would he need a bag to meet someone?
