Chapter 11. Her Secrets
She isn't going to speak, I watch as she avoids me, but I won't sit the entire ride there quiet, I need answers.
"You wanted us to go when your housemates were out. Why is that?" I sit waiting, watching as she raises her head to look at me.
"I thought that you would rather avoid questions. If less, you're happy to say you kidnapped me when they request to know why I'm suddenly leaving?" She smirks at me, yet her eyes don't match. She can't lie, maybe because she tries to use humour, and it never touches her eyes?
"You know, your humour to mask the truth fails. You need to practice more. To lie and be believable, you need to be able to not feel anything, not react and be able to hide the true feelings." I wonder if she realises every lie I have recognised so far?
"You mean like you? Don't feel or show emotion, hide your anger and be brick?" She tilts her head slightly.
God, little one, you're not as fucking dumb
