Chapter 4. Message
We enter Lorenzo's room, and I watch as he sits on his bed and smiles at me. His smile says he thinks he's cute, and while he is, there is no way I am letting him believe it.
"Don't Lorenzo," I say, unwilling to let him hurt me again. He forgot every time we spent the night together; he forgot like it was nothing. Like I was just any other woman.
"I'm not doing a thing." He grins at me. I try not to laugh or fall into his games, I know his plan, and it won't work. I won't fall for his bullshit again.
"I'm not fucking you! Not when tomorrow you won't even remember." I won't be hurt again. I thought I could trust him, but how can I? How can I tell him the truth when he can't even remember me?
"I'm sorry I hurt you. Okay? I remember, though." He looks at me and waits for my acceptance, but his remembering means nothing now.
"So you said, but that doesn't make a difference or change the fact I was like every other woman you fucked and forgot
