As a royal, it was almost impossible not to think of your life as the worst, to not imagine life outside your palace as intriguing and free. But when you were immersed into a different world, though the circumstances might be the same, you quickly found out that everything everywhere was the same. The same boredom, the same complacency set in, and you found yourself longing for your former life and the comforts (or lack of) it offered.
Such were the feelings of Noelle when she’d stayed just two days in the Claw palace. Her routines were the same: wake up, do some skin care, have breakfast, wander around for a while before ending up in the library, spend most of the day reading, lunch and dinner in quick succession, some embroidery time with Sakura, and finally, bed.
