Alex was placed on the bed and the gamma turned to Mia. "Should I call the salutary?" He asked.

"Please, do," Mia replied, worriedly and the gamma left immediately. Earlier this afternoon, they had not seen each other after the fight that they had in the morning and she wondered what must have happened tonight, that she found him outside his room, lying unconsciously on the floor.

She took off his boots and relieved him of his heavy clothing. He was left naked from his chest down to his waist.

The salutary returned moments later, followed by James Heartman. "What happened to the alpha?" The salutary asked Mia as he got closer.

"I do not know. I just met him at his door. I think he must have collapsed," Mia replied to him in anxiety.

"My goodness. I have never known Alex to be ill before. Since he was born, he had never fallen ill or fallen short on anything," James Heartman said as the salutary was attending to Alex.
