“I don’t want to,” Troy sulked, hugging her lap as she stroked his hair. “I just got this keyboard. At your insistence, Bart and CC still have the kid. We’re finally alone. I want to make music with you and then just straight up play with you. Last night you fell asleep too quickly, I didn’t get nearly enough of you. I don’t want to share you with other people.”
Aria laughed merrily.
“When did you get so cute?”
“We talked about this,” he said, grabbing her waist. “I don’t do cute.”
As punishment for daring to use the word in association with him, Troy started leaving little bites along her collarbone.
“If you don’t stop leaving marks on my body, no dress I own will be safe to wear to this thing tonight,” she said, but she held him to her, encouraged him to continue.
“See? Another reason not to go. I just can’t seem to stop my mouth and neither can you.”
He was already getting to her, making her waver, but they owed the Condors a debt of grat
