Seven’s POV
Coming back to the house, I saw Sean’s convertible in the driveway. It was parked the same way it was when I left the house for school.
Does this mean that he hasn’t left the house, or that he left but didn’t go with his car?
I wasn’t expecting him to be around already.
What was I going to tell him, or what would he think I had been doing—that I didn’t think it was important to be back home when I was supposed to?
I would gauge him when I walked into the sitting room; that was what was going to determine what I would be doing with what I had just found.
I was surprised at what I saw, but I wasn’t so sure that I was shocked. Reginald looked too cool to want to give up on life yet—he might be partially, but he was so full of life. And this was his son; Mr. Actona shouldn’t have kept Shantelle out of Reginald’s life.
