Shantelle’s POV

“That’s fine. Let’s get to class,” Keshon said.

She was always happy to be in class. I didn’t know why she was so studious, but it was paying for both of us because I didn’t need to do too much for academics, and she was always there to help me out.

“Hey, Keshon. Are we alright?” I asked.

She looked so stressed.

I motioned for us to stop walking; she was sick, and we needed to do something about it. Maybe we needed to rest for a moment before we continued to class.

“Why?” She sighed. “Did something happen?” She faced me.

She was so cute when she didn’t know what was happening. I wanted to start laughing, but this was a serious situation.

I didn’t know if that was the same for her, but I needed to be sure that we were on the same page.

I didn’t want to count my words around her, and if I didn’t clear this up, that was what I would be doing.
