Chapter 25

Shantelle’s POV

“Could you drive us to my house?” Keshon asked.

She should have said that to his almost retreating figure. We didn’t need his help, and I would have snapped at her the moment she said that, but I was trying my best to be in her good grace after how I had behaved toward her.

She should have asked me before she did that, and I had already told her I was going to get Reginald to take us to her house. Why was the rush about and why was she behaving as if she hadn’t just seen what transpired between me and him?

Being anywhere around him would make me more upset. I was very sure that Keshon knew that. I didn’t understand why she thought this was the best thing she could come up with.

“Why would you ask him that?” I asked her.

She knew that I wouldn’t have done that to her if she was the one in that position.

We are going to talk about this and I would make sure she saw that I didn’t like what she had just done.
