Seven’s POV
Shantelle’s best friend cleared her throat like she had enough of both of us. I would have done the same thing.
I wanted to pretend like I hadn’t seen Shantelle standing there. I didn’t have time to deal with another female after the bickering I just had with Shantelle. It was draining, and she would have just ignored me the way I planned to do because I couldn’t wait to see Sean but trust her to want to make herself known to me like I hadn’t been watching the way she had been talking to her best friend and how I couldn’t keep my gaze from going to her mouth and how I wanted to lose myself in its warmth.
I had made her feel bad, and that wasn’t what I would have wanted to do, or Sean wouldn’t have been happy with the way the conversation was going, but I just wanted Shantelle out of my hair. There was always going to be time for us to revisit this.
“Could you drive us to my house?” Keshon asked.
