Seven’s POV
Shantelle wasn’t anywhere around school; I would have felt her like I usually did when she was around me. She was a force that couldn’t be ignored.
I saw Keshon sitting, looking like she was waiting for someone. I was interested in knowing how her health was. She didn’t look as pale as she did yesterday, so she had to be better if she looked like this.
“Hi, Keshon,” I called out as I approached her.
She wasn’t expecting me; I could gather that from the way she was assessing me. It only meant one thing: she didn’t think I was supposed to be here. Did she think I was talking to her because I had any ulterior motives? I was going to have to put her mind at rest.
If I wanted to have any ulterior motive, it would be toward Shantelle. I couldn’t stop thinking about her after what happened between us yesterday. There was a spark. I would have stopped it before it started, but I had wanted her since I saw her standing in my house. I couldn’t
