"What are you talking about for God's sake? Ehn? How can you even say that to me right now? Did I marry you just because of the baby? How many times do I have to prove myself to you or explain to you that it wasn't just about the baby? Ehn? I tried to prove to you over and over again that you matter a lot to me, Marissa and this is all you can say to me? That was my child too!" He shouted in anguish, his voice breaking. "She killed my child too and here you are breaking my heart all over again by saying all these vicious words to me"

Marissa looked guilty for a moment and she tried to say something but Bernard was on a roll and he wouldn't let her talk.

"I watched you, Rissa, I watched you on that bed, soaked in the blood of our child, in your blood on the day that was supposed to be your happiest day on earth. I watch your breath stop before starting over again. I watched you on that bed, unconscious and unmoving for days, dying slowly myself, praying, wishing, and hoping
