Marissa was dumbfounded as she saw a group of her former co-workers on her doorstep, led by Henrietta.

"Wow, what…" Marissa quickly recovered from her shock to say that she briefly wondered how awkward this would have been if she had been dressed in any ridiculous clothing in her expectation of Bernard.

"She should be pleasantly surprised and jump for joy, right? Does she look pleasantly surprised to you?" Henrietta asked no one in particular.

"I don't know about pleasantly, but she certainly looks surprised," one of them said, and they laughed.

"Of course, I am happy to see you all. I just wasn't expecting... Come in, come in." She ushered them in as she moved from the door.

"You crazy girl," she muttered to Henrietta as she passed.
