"Really?" Simon smiled as he shook his head at his wife. "I am bothersome for coming to pick you up. Okay, I would remind you of that when you complain that I didn't pick you up from somewhere.
"I can drive!" She said this in indignation as she turned to him on the porch and refused to move again. She rolled her eyes "Men. Why do we tolerate them, Marissa?" She looked around when she heard no reply. "Marissa, where are you?" She screeched. "He is bullying me!"
Marissa rushed out the door and hit Simon's arm with his wife's bag. "You big bully," she winked at him as the latter winced theatrically and exclaimed, Ouch."
"Sorry, hon. I was just getting your bag," she said to Henrietta, who grinned at her husband, holding his head between her hands before giving him a smacking kiss on his forehead.
