Murmurs of agreement rose among the executives seated around the table. This was the first meeting Marissa would have with the general executives. The first one was a closed-door meeting with the top executives. They were all in support of the move, especially since everyone knew what the implication of delaying the projects they had at hand could be for them all, and they were all aware of the boss’s verbal verdict; Marissa as the head was the same as Bernard as the head, which they believed was the message their boss had passed across to them the other time.
