I knew I was overreacting, but…
He was so fucking annoying! I had never been kissed that roughly!
I was wearing a black top with black tattered skinny jeans, pairing it with open-toe stilettos. These were the only adequate clothes I saw in Kameron’s closet.
While going downstairs, I was raking my bucket handbag. I stopped when I heard crying.
“I’m sorry, Mom. I’ll do my best next time,” the poor girl pleaded in a little voice. She was on her knees with the woman in her mid-40s, looking angry.
Who were they? Maybe Kameron’s relatives? I was about to leave when the girl’s eyes and mine met. I saw how her eyes squinted. I shrugged and continued walking. I had so many things to do!
Kameron’s father wanted to have a talk with me in the backyard. I was still a little lost. Kameron’s father and the older woman talked seriously. Still, Aunt Rona’s face immediately lit up on me when they felt my presence.
