I visited the boutique where Mom and I used to hang out before. There I bought what I would wear today. Fortunately, I saw Kameron’s card while looking for something on her vanity table, which was the only thing I found interesting.
Should I consider Kameron’s things to be mine? Of course I should!
A wide grin appeared on my lips as I saw my final look.
I cut my long, wavy hair above the shoulders, making some curls at the tips. I was so bored with black, so I changed the color too—into ash gray.
I was thankful that Kameron was brokenhearted. Otherwise, I would still be determining where to find a reason in case they noticed Kameron’s changes.
I was not that good at pretending. I preferred being honest.
I wore a rusty orange bodycon dress. I paired it with a belt to define my curves and velvet black over-the-knee boots.
I lowered my shades when I spotted my car. I didn’t bring Kameron’s driver; I wanted to be free now.
