Chapter 84
“Stupid shit,” Sebastian accused me, with a growl. I pushed the cane back to him, to return to my task of loading the boxes onto the trailer. “That’s what you are, a stupid piece of shit. We had high hopes for you. Oh, Rhiannon is going to have a panic attack when she finds out about this.”
“Where is she, anyway?”
“She had to return to Scotland due to an emergency with another of our patients. One who has many more problems than you, but who is at least more reasonable. If we had known this was going to happen… it was that damn trip. Seeing that lousy lion has taken away every last bit of sanity you had left,” he replied rudely. He was silent for a moment, finally still in one place and with the cane clenched in his hands, trembling with rage. Then he added, “You know what? Better go. Get out of here and go wherever you want, escape cowardly. Still, you won’t get rid of us.”
“I’m giving up therapy, in case you haven’t noticed.”
