Zeke came to a halt as soon as he saw Red. She was fighting the two wolves while the bodies of some scientists lay lifeless at her feet.

“Looks like she’s completely lost her mind,” I remarked as I aimed my crossbow at Red. But as soon as I let go of the arrow, Red uses the wolf’s body as a shield.

“Damn!” exclaimed Zeke. He hadn’t expected Red to still be thinking, or perhaps it was a reflex.

Red let out a shrill scream as she let go of the wolf, and she looked at the person who fired the shot.

“Grr!” Red growled and hurled himself at Zeke and the two lifeless wolves.

And ran fast as her claws clawed to slash anyone alive she could encounter.
