“Igor,” Dracula said, “you are really smart and gifted in the sciences, so it’s only you I can trust to tell this secret that seems to want to drive me stark raving mad,” he said to Igor.

“Speak on, my Lord,” Igor said to the Count.

“That I will indeed, dear servant,” Dracula said to him, “dear Igor, I’ve been having this strange and unholy urge to consume the blood of living creatures, and with all the self-control I can possibly muster, I have tried all within my power to suppress this urge, even succumbing to the use of hallucinatory herbs to numb the urge, but it has all been to no avail,” the Count said.

“Hmmm, it is a strange case indeed seeing as I ha’ ne’er heard of it myself,” Igor responded, “but have yet any other symptoms except the urge for blood?” Igor asked the Count.

“Yes,” Dracula answered, “I, after having consumed quite some blood, have noticed that I have now attained a level of strength that is not to be expected
