“You there. This place Is not for you so you better bid well,” One of the men snorted angrily.

“5,000 Egyptian pounds going once going twice!”

“6,000 Egyptian pounds!” Another man yelled at the top of his lungs like that was his yearly savings.

“10,000 Egyptian pounds!” The voice from earlier said coldly like this was all child’s play and I couldn’t be more curious. I stared at the curtain again but then I looked away.

I stared at the people and noticed the women around as they shot me disgusting looks, holding their masters with a flirting gaze.

I rolled my eyes at this. Such pretense.

“10,000 Egyptian pounds going once! Going twice and selling!” The announcer said, letting out a deep breath like he had just run a marathon race.

I was unfazed by all of these. Soon I was dragged away by the guards around.

“101!” I heard his voice again and my heart turned cold and I stared at the black curtain one last time as I was dragged away.
