Chapter 98

Ava’s POV

I came out of my house after practicing some spells in my spell book. Being a witch was always such a lovely thing to me, especially the fact that my best friend’s daughter was just discovered to be a half-witch.

I found myself in the forest which I didn’t mind. I took a seat on a bench beside me.

“Why would a bench be in the forest?” I asked myself and laughed. I looked up at the sky and sighed. The view was breathtaking.

Suddenly a force drew me and I screamed. It was so fast that I couldn’t think of any spell to set myself free. It stopped and I was faced with a vampire.

It looked so hungry for blood.

“I never knew I would catch such a good piece of meat.” the vampire slurred, staggering slowly to me.

I closed my eyes and muttered a sleeping spell on him. “Clio revenge apish,” I said, lifting my hand in the air and the vampire laughed.
