“Come out now,” I heard a cold voice and then subconsciously I glanced at the door.

I saw one of the guards that dragged me in earlier standing there with a pale looking face.

“What is it again?” I asked but still got up and walked towards him, albeit with difficulty.

“How did you know that the king was going to get poisoned?” He asked coldly.

“Like I said earlier. I heard it from someone, you didn’t believe me then. But I guess, the deed has been done,” I said coldly, and his hand went to his sword.
