Mephistopheles’s POV

I was surveying the new coven that I recently found out where that vampire stayed. I kept going forward and found it but I couldn’t make a move because I felt like I was being pulled by a force to somewhere else.

Unable to pull myself out of the force I found myself by a fountain in the middle of the forest and for some reason I felt a new presence in the forest so I looked around.

I tried not to make any sound so I wouldn’t lose my prey. Yes. If you are asking why I think that presence is my prey and why I need to terminate it. I sensed the blood of a witch and from the history witches, vampires, and demons hate themselves. And vampires are here so I might as well help them get rid of the prey before it turns to chaos.

I kept walking and suddenly I couldn’t feel the presence of my prey any longer.

“They must be close enough if I don’t smell them any longer,” I told myself and stood in a fighting stance.
