Ava’s POV

I ran away from Mephistopheles after the kiss and walked back to my home. I was walking back when I realized that another vampire could just pop up in my front and harm me. I really hoped that Mephistopheles would come to my rescue if that happened.

I walked and ended up in a fountain in the middle of the forest and I stopped to admire it. It looked so surreal. It was magical and had little Latin words imprinted on it. I felt like touching it but as a witch I knew that that wasn’t a good decision.

It may be a trap or even a curse laid down by a predator. I didn’t touch it but had a closer look and it seemed like it was a love fountain because I saw writings like “Mi Amor,” and other love languages and they were all circled in a love shape.
