Chapter 22. The Kiss Was a Mistake

Iris's heart started beating five times faster than normal. She stood like a statue, not knowing what to do. Nick looked at her panic-stricken face and laughed to make her relax.

"Just kidding. Come here. Let's eat, " said Nick, pulling a coffee table close and placing the food packet. He took out two paper plates and served the food. Iris came towards him and sat down beside him to eat. 

"Mmm, this is delicious," said Iris, licking the cheese off her lips. Nick stared at her lips, wishing that he could lick the cheese off. 

"There's still more on the left side," he told her. She wiped it off and ate up the delicious pizza. 

"Take a bite of the lasagna," Nick suggested, devouring his share. "It's too good." Iris tasted it and moaned with pleasure at the outstanding flavors that tingled her taste buds.
