Chapter 31. Joining Internship Together

Iris unlocked her door with her spare key and went inside. It didn't look like her dad had come home. The whole house looked exactly as it was in the morning. So where exactly was her dad? Did he go out with Henrietta Gareth? 

Quickly freshening up and changing, she went into the kitchen to make dinner. She prepared spaghetti and meatballs just the way granny had taught her. The quiet house made her miss granny all the more. After preparing dinner, she went into granny's room and sat down with her photo albums. Strangely, Iris didn't find any photographs of her dad's childhood in the photo albums. All pictures of her dad started when her dad was around ten or eleven. He didn't smile in any of his childhood pictures. She wanted to ask many questions but sadly granny was no more. These albums were hidden in her closet, and Iris had never seen them before.
