The food was outstanding, but the company was more enjoyable to Sapphire. As they finished their meal and waited for their dessert to arrive, Denver picked up her hand and held it in his. Sapphire looked at him as he took something out of his pocket. Was he giving her another ring? She watched with hesitation, not knowing how to break it to him. She couldn't accept another ring now.

However, to her surprise, he took out a beautiful bracelet made of shining blue Sapphires from his pocket. He clasped it around her wrist. "I got this for you. It reminded me of you. The Sapphires on this bracelet denote celestial hope and faith just as your name does. You can't wear the ring I gave you, but you can wear this. Can't you?" asked Denver, hopefully. Sapphire loved the bracelet already. It was too beautiful to not fall in love with it.

"Yes, Denver. I'll always wear this. Thank you," she said honestly.
