Chapter 20. Daxton Faces Bradley

Daxton was relieved that finally his work was done for the day and he could not go to Aurora. He was missing her and the kiss that they had shared more than anything else now. He thought of ordering dinner to please Aurora and get a kiss in return. Grinning at his bright idea, he drove towards his house. Parking his car, he straight went to Aurora's house to see her.

However, before he could go inside the building, he met a furious Chris right in front of it. To Daxton's surprise, the man who was with Chris last night was also there, standing and glaring at him.

"Where have you hidden Aurora and Leo?" growled Chris, catching hold of Daxton's collar with fury. Daxton gaped at him, giving him a confused look.

"Why should I hide them? They're there in their apartment. I'm just returning from work. I'll just go in and check up on them," he shrugged, extracting himself from Chris' grip.
