Chapter 29. Going to New York to See Nate

The next two weeks were the best moments in their lives. Drake took Alexis out on a date every alternate day. He bought her a car, a red Honda Accord she had always wanted. Thus, commuting to and from college had become very easy and convenient for her. Drake was a very caring boyfriend and, of course, Alexis was no less. She cooked for him every day. They did housework together and went grocery shopping together as if they were a couple already. Alexis was amazed at Drake’s self-restraint. Not once did he exceed his limitations and try to take advantage of her. They cuddled together every night to sleep. They kissed every now and then and even made out a little. She could sense the extreme effort Drake put in to restrain himself from losing control, and it increased her love for him.
