Chapter 42. Forever and Ever

Nate picked Claire up and left the party amidst loud cheering and teasing. Claire hid her face in his neck, her face flushed red with embarrassment. “Why did you have to make such a dramatic exit? Couldn’t we just slip out quietly? Everyone was staring at us. I don’t know how I’ll face them tomorrow,” said a blushing Claire. Nate chuckled and placed her down by his car. 

“Don’t worry, this is normal for my family. Everyone expects you to be crazy on your wedding day,” he said, his eyes blazing with excitement. Claire smiled, amazed and very much in love with her crazy new family. 

“Don’t stand and wait. Get in already. I have a surprise waiting for you,” said an impatient and excited Nate, unable to contain himself. It was the most exciting evening of his life and he couldn’t wait to spend it with her. Claire gave him a curious look.
