Chapter 10. You Owe Me a Lot

“No, don’t do it again,” lied Andrea, her cheeks red with embarrassment. 

“Liar,” said Aries under his breath. “You didn’t praise me for the delicious dinner?” he asked in disbelief.

“Why should I praise you? I’ll praise the food,” she said with a grin.

“That’ll be mean. I made it after all. You should smother me with kisses, you know, as a thank-you gesture,” he said, making her roll her eyes at him. 

“My God! You’re such a despo and a weirdo. You look so straight and nerdy in front of others. Who would have known what you really are?” said Andrea. Aries chuckled at her vivid description of him. He wasn’t at all those, and he was stunned at his own transformation. How did he become so desperate? He almost sounded like a se* deprived maniac, which he was not. In fact, he had been amazed at his own composure and prided in his sense of restraint. Despite all the girls going crazy over him at college, he had maintained his nerdy image with no hassles.
