Chapter 18. Jealous of His Own Brother

Aries quickly got ready to go to the airport to receive Nate. He couldn't inform Andrea as she was away somewhere the whole day. After ignoring her the entire week, now that he had submitted the project, he wanted to make up for everything. He saw Andrea in the kitchen making dinner. It amazed him to see that she had picked up so well from Vera. Although she wasn’t very good at it, the food didn’t taste bad either. She was learning, and she was trying. She glanced up at him the moment he entered the kitchen.

“Hi! Nice to see you making dinner.” Aries grimaced at the lame comment. Couldn’t he have said something better?

“I do it every day in case you haven’t noticed.” 

“Yes, I noticed. I’m glad that you picked up so well within such a brief span of time.” He walked up to her side and peered into the pan. She was making beef meatballs with pasta. “Looks great so far.”

“Are you eating out somewhere?” she asked, noticing the car keys in his grip.
