Chapter 14. Caught Red-Handed?

Aries looked blank for a moment, not knowing how to tell her he felt alive in her presence. “I hate to live alone and do all the household chores all by myself. Why else?” he said with a shrug, releasing the breath that he was holding. Thankfully, he could come up with the right retort to save his honor. 

“Oh,” she said, looking disappointed. She snatched her hand away and started rushing towards Lisa’s dorm room. Aries ran after her.

“What happened? Why are you running away?” he asked, looking confused. 

"Nothing at all. It’s bad that you have to stay alone tonight. ‘Coz I’m gonna sleep with Lisa," she said breathlessly as she almost ran. In a few strides, Aries caught up with her and grabbed her hand to stop her from fleeing. 

“Why do you need to sleep with Lisa? Adam won’t return. He has an early morning flight back. He’s taking his girl back with him,” said Aries.
