Chapter 64. Killian Saves Her

Andrea unlocked the door of Nate’s apartment and dragged herself inside the empty place, her heart constricting with pain at the memory of Aries. Fresh tears pooled in her eyes and she couldn’t control them at all. Everything she saw reminded her of him. How would she stay here without breaking down completely? She considered herself solely responsible for the mess surrounding her. Her father was right. She was the worst person, the worst daughter, the worst girlfriend alive. She didn’t deserve Aries’s love and maybe he would have been safe if he didn’t love her! 

She sat on the sofa, covered her face, and wept brokenly, unable to control the mountain of emotions rising up to clog her throat. The lump was too big to swallow, and she just sobbed, hogging herself for comfort. She would have ended her wretched life had Killian not saved her and brought her here. 

Killian disconnected the call and rushed into the apartment to break the good news to Andrea.
