Chapter 19. The Fight

Vincent’s POV

“Run! Run Ashley and get out of here!”

I tackled the monster wolf into the ground and pinned his legs while I shouted to Ashley. She looked at me before her pale face disappeared and her footsteps faded through the hall. I feel the movements of my enemy under me as he grunts while I force him to stay down.

“You won’t get her this time Richardson!” I uttered in animosity.

But he made a strong kick from behind hitting my stomach and my rib case, the pain registered through my senses causing me to loosen the hold. When that happened, he move away and showed his sharp and long fangs to aim for my neck but before he could do aim for the kill, I have managed to roll away.

“Nice move Your Majesty! Your mate was lucky enough to get away however if you lose this fight I guess she wouldn’t be that lucky after all!”
