Aurora stayed with me for a while. We had spent a good chunk of our time talking to each other on the black sofa, we hadn't even noticed when the rain stopped or when the sun began to set. We were lost in our own little bubble. I had found out a few interesting things about her, for one she's Killian's tactical adviser, a word that if loosely translated would mean his assassin.

I'd already made my peace with the fact that Killian was not a saint nor was he a good alpha but he was just and that's all that's needed.

She had grown up far away from here, her mother had sold her to a snake shifter clan when she was just five, she lived with them and they made her their best foot soldier. Of course this was before he had tried to assassinate Killian and found out that he was her brother.

She struggled to adapt to back life but after sixty years living in the pack she had adapted well, so much so that she became the star of the pack. She'
