Chapter 10. Challenge

Cybele stood up and the wolves continued to stare at her silently. She didn't want to stare at them, for fear that this would be the trigger they needed to attack her. The woman didn't move either.

"Are you the moon?" Cibele asked after some time analyzing the woman.

"What are you doing here? I can sense that you're one of my protégés, but I don't know you." The woman spoke and her voice was as soft as the sound of running water in a waterfall.
