Chapter 22. The Reunion

Day One

Cybele looked at the gem-encrusted red kimono with indifference. Aurora was as radiant and anxious as if she herself were the bride. Cybele believed she had no reason to celebrate. She heard a different commotion coming from her window and when she approached the window, she saw several Royal carriages parked in front and turned to her mother.

"Looks like Gael's guests are two days early..." She said with a cold look on her face.

Aurora hurried over and reached the curtain. They had established a silent truce. Aurora decided that she would not interfere in Alpha and Luna's love for the time being. She had a plan in mind and for it to work, she needed them both to believe that she had changed.

"It's the Alphas and Lunas from the four corners." Aurora said as if that explained everything and then turned to Cybele. "Be merry, my child. I'm sure you'll have fun all these days."
