Chapter 46. Out

Cybele thought It wouldn't be a difficult task to find the moon. And now she could see hope. Even if she couldn't convince the moon to help, she would be free. Knowing that brought her relief.

She got up and went to the closet and pressed the button and chose some clothes, for the first time, grateful for the technology that meant that in whichever room of the house she was in, the closet would bring her the clothes she wanted to wear. She went into the bathroom and took a shower.

Cybele then went to Sean's room. She watched him sleep. He was just like Gael. He had even inherited his father's arrogant look.

She headed down the corridor towards Gael's room. She didn't want to make him angry. She had to serve him as long as she didn't talk to the moon.

One door before Gael's room. She stopped. She felt her heart racing and opened the door. There were newborns' clothes strewn about, surely that was where their babies
