Chapter 85. Wenda

Gael was greeted with a party by the young people when he joined them in the living room. Aghata recounted in great detail how she had been approached by the powerful Alpha, and she spoke so naturally that Gael didn't feel embarrassed by the debauched laughter of the other children.

Aghata looked at him amused, without resentment, and he was curious about what had happened to her over the years, because she had left there looking sixteen and he thought she should be much older, but she was as young as his other daughters, perhaps even younger than them.

Gael wanted to get closer and talk to her, but her brothers and sisters were monopolizing her, peppering her with questions about what she had done all that time. Everyone fell silent when she decided to say something that no one had asked.

"I got married. I'd like to ask Alpha's permission to bring my husband here so you can meet him."

Gael felt like he could touch the tension in the
