Chapter 59. Obsidian Pack Battle

Rose has her arms wrapped around my waist, refusing to let go. Her tears are soaking through my shirt. The Sapphire Pack has not been involved in a conflict for many years. Rose hasn’t seen the aftermath of war. She is terrified, and I feel guilty for leaving her in the safe room, but I have to protect my pack.
