Chapter 60. Evil Plans

Rose POV

The tension in the safe room is thick. Cyra and Phoenix keep to themselves on the opposite of the room. Phoenix keeps looking in our direction with a scowl on his face.

I know I should look away from him, but I can’t. He looks so much like the triplets, except for his golden eyes. There is no denying who he belongs to.

I should feel jealous or angry that Zeke was given a son by another, but I cannot bring myself to dwell on it. I love Zeke even though he is not my fated mate. I can see how much he cares for the child, and I know I will do anything to protect him.
