At that moment, they found themselves in Danville, the area to the south that was once under the leadership of the now deceased Alpha Conrad. This marked the seventh pack they explored today, and it was the final one on their itinerary. Their visitation had started a week earlier, and with each passing day, it grew more challenging. 

More challenging due to the abrupt departure of their leaders, which left these packs in ruins. The burden felt heavier for her since she was acutely aware of her deep involvement and accountability in this situation, even if she could not pinpoint how. She could have cured them had they been suffering or injured, but they were lifeless, and she was unable to revive the deceased. 

Witnessing the suffering of people in the kingdom and the grief reflected on the faces of their mates and children only added to the distress. The whole pack was grieving, and all they could offer were words of solace
