Scarlett rose early to prepare herself. She prepared as quickly as possible, aiming to avoid any delays on her part. She got ready for what lay ahead. They were heading to Death Falls, the origin of the curse. The waterfall was connected to other bodies of water within the pack and even extending beyond. She was unsure of how the name originated, but she was convinced there was more to the story. She reassured herself that this would be achievable, just like the others. 

In contrast to her experiences over the past few weeks, the origin of the plague was not a person; instead, it was a location, and she was uncertain about how that would unfold. 

She exited her room in the villa and noticed Zachary emerging as well. She experienced shivers at his presence, and she attempted to process it. He would be with her as he was yesterday, and she should strive not to let his presence affect her.
