Zachary's POV

As the door swung open, Shawn entered the office of the Lycan king, carrying a pile of files in his grasp. He lowered his head in greeting, moved closer, and placed the files on the desk. Without saying anything further, he began to leave when Zachary addressed him. "Will this be the way things are? Just say hello and leave it at that." 

He pivoted to look at Zachary, who was sitting opposite him, finally seeing him for the first time in a few weeks. Almost a month. "I am confused." 

"You repeated this when you visited last time; you delivered the report in the same way. You greeted me, set the documents down, and then left." He indicated it. 

"I am not sure what more you expect me to do." Shawn declared bluntly. 

Zachary shifted and settled in his chair. "You were once my friend, or at least that’s how it used to be. You might inquire about my well-being. I understand you are aware of the updates regarding Luna Queen S
