Scarlett's POV

Scarlett faced the mirror, gazing at her reflection in the wine red silk dress designated for the maid of honour. It had become more constricting than when she last put it on, which was a fortnight ago. She did not gain any additional weight, yet a baby was developing inside her, and it increased in size with each passing day. 

"You look absolutely beautiful," Sheila remarked from behind her as she was getting her makeup done. 

She spun around, her lips pursed, and said, "I look like I have just eaten an entire pot of food!" Scarlett shot her a wierd glance. 

"You, honey, look pregnant; that is the correct term." Scarlett grimaced at her and remained silent.
