Shawn suggested taking a few weeks to rest and regain his strength, but that simply was not possible. Spending weeks in the werewolf realm would entail weeks of entrusting Scarlett to the control of the rulers of the Shadow Realm for their own purposes. A few weeks provided sufficient time for them to accomplish their objective, whatever it may have been. He was aware of it. No matter what their intentions were, Scarlett remained the focus, not due to Anna revealing it to him, but rather because of what Scarlett had witnessed on Crescent Isle.
