Chapter 18. Accusation

ISABELLA’S POV

“Isabella Oh I’m so glad you’re finally awake. With the way Dante didn’t let anyone come near you, I thought I would have to leave without saying goodbye.” Valencia smiles widely at me as she pulls me in for a warm teddy bear hug. She’s honestly a ray of sunshine and I broke into a sweet grin the minute I set eyes on her.

“Hi Valencia.” I say with a chuckle. I don’t see Marco anywhere but Dante told me he’s in a room resting right now so I guess he’s still asleep and I’ll see him later. “I’m glad you’re okay.”

“Yeah yesterday was pretty intense right?! I’ve never been in that type of situation before. I was frightening and exciting at the same time.” She says and I tilt my head at her because that’s not exactly how I would describe the events of last night.
